Thanks for the great article and your Phantoms Phorever video. Having spent 10 years flying F-4D's, F-4E's and F-4G's, I really appreciate the work you put into telling the story of the Phantom. One nickname I didn't hear you mention was the Rhino, because it was a beast that would do some damage. Thanks again.
Thank you Ray, I immensely appreciate your comments on my video. The very best praise I can get is from aviators such as yourself who flew the Rhino, and yes I should have mentioned that nickname - it was (and is) a beast of an aircraft. I can imagine how good it must have been to transition from the D to the E - my guess is that the better engine and leading edge slats made a huge difference. Was that your experience?
